NYC Preview Screening, September 25

On Sunday, September 25, Check Your Body at the Door was previewed to select audiences in New York City at Peridance’s Salvatore Capezio Theater (Read the Press Release).  Many of the amazing CYBATD Featured Dancers, along with their family and friends, were in attendance to see the completed film screened for the first time.  Longtime friends and supporters of the film also attended, making this a night to remember. 

Executive Producer Sally R. Sommer was honored a lifetime achievement award, presented by Brahms "Bravo" LaFortune on behalf of the CYBATD dancers.

The award reads: "We love it, we love you!  You are showing the world what we do, how we do it as well as why we do it."

The screening was followed by a discussion with the Featured Dancers and an after-party produced by FUNKBOX. Thank you to Conrad Rochester for organizing the after-party!  Thank you to Lafotographeuse Imagery (Amanda M. Louis) and Nermine Ch for documenting this evening.
